Privacy Policy

This policy explains how OppRise ("OppRise", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, stores and deletes information when you use the OppRise web app at https://app.opprise.io. OppRise is a marketing management platform that finds marketing opportunities, prepares content and campaign plans, and helps you manage your team's work. Questions: [email protected].

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, password (stored hashed) or Google sign-in identifier, language, currency and time zone.
  • Business information you give us: business name, website, industry, goals, audiences, brand voice, brand exclusions, landing pages, uploaded files and brand assets.
  • Content you create: projects, tasks, comments, messages, support tickets, generated copy, images and videos.
  • Data from accounts you connect: only when you choose to connect them, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Meta and TikTok. See section 6 for Google.
  • Billing information: plan, credit usage and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device, pages used and error logs, used to keep the service secure and working.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the service: show reports, find and rank opportunities, write drafts, plan campaigns and run your workspace.
  • To create or edit ads and posts only when you review and approve them. Ad campaigns are always created paused, and we never publish, send or spend money without your explicit approval.
  • To provide support, send service notices and keep accounts secure.
  • To process billing and credits.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. AI processing

To generate copy, images, videos and recommendations, we send the relevant inputs (for example your brand profile and the page you're promoting) to AI model providers that process them on our behalf. These providers are not allowed to use your data to train their models. We do not use your data, or any Google user data, to train general AI models.

4. Sharing

We share information only with:

  • Members of your own workspace, based on the roles you set.
  • Service providers that help us run OppRise (hosting, database, email, payments, AI processing), under contracts that limit their use to providing the service.
  • The platforms you connect, only to carry out actions you approve (for example creating a paused campaign in your own ad account).
  • Authorities, where the law requires it, or a buyer in a business sale, with this policy still applying.

5. Storage, security and retention

  • Data is stored with our hosting provider and encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
  • Access tokens for connected accounts are kept on our servers only, never in your browser, and are only used by the service itself.
  • Access is limited by workspace membership and roles.
  • We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records (such as invoices).

6. Google user data

If you choose to connect Google, OppRise asks your permission for these scopes:

  • Basic profile and email (openid, email): to identify which Google account is connected.
  • Google Analytics, read only (analytics.readonly): to read page traffic, audience, device and channel reports for the properties you select.
  • Google Search Console, read only (webmasters.readonly): to read search queries, clicks and positions for the sites you select.
  • Google Ads (adwords): to list the ad accounts you can access, read campaign, audience and performance data, and create or edit campaigns only after you approve them. New campaigns are always created paused.

How we use it: only to show your reports inside OppRise, recommend audiences, messaging and improvements, and build campaigns you approve. We only access the accounts you select.

Sharing: we don't sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, except service providers needed to run OppRise, where the law requires it, or with your consent. Humans don't read it unless you ask us for support, it's needed for security, or the law requires it.

Storage and protection: Google tokens are encrypted, stored on our servers only, and only visible to your workspace through the app.

Retention and deletion: clicking Disconnect Google on the Integrations page revokes access and deletes the stored tokens straight away. Report data we cached is deleted within 30 days of disconnecting. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or email [email protected] to have your Google data deleted.

OppRise's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. LinkedIn member data

If you sign in with LinkedIn, OppRise accesses your basic LinkedIn profile (name, profile photo and email) to show which account is connected, and permission to post on your behalf. Where LinkedIn has approved OppRise for them, OppRise can also access the Company Pages you administer (to publish posts you approve) and your LinkedIn ad accounts (to read campaign performance and targeting options, and create campaigns you approve, always created paused).

OppRise only posts or creates campaigns when you click to approve. We never sell LinkedIn data, use it for our own advertising, or use it to train general AI models. Access tokens are encrypted and stored on our servers only. Disconnecting LinkedIn in Integrations revokes and deletes our access straight away, and you can also remove OppRise at linkedin.com/psettings/permitted-services. Our use of LinkedIn data follows the LinkedIn API Terms of Use.

7a. Other connected platforms

Meta and TikTok data is used the same way: only for the accounts you share with us, only to show reports and carry out actions you approve, and deleted when you disconnect.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent for connected accounts at any time. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local privacy regulator.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We don't use advertising cookies.

10. Children

OppRise is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We'll post updates here and change the date at the top. For significant changes we'll notify workspace owners by email.
